How To Use PancakeSwap & Binance Smart Chain On Trust Wallet

Trust Wallet allows you to interact with decentralized websites for buying, selling, staking, and exchanging crypto. One of the websites that is very popular is none other than PancakeSwap.

PancakeSwap can be accessed on any web browser. But for those who are looking to buy, stake, or exchange cryptocurrency using a mobile app, you will need to have a wallet, and that’s where Trust Wallet comes into play.

 

Funding Your Trust Wallet

Buying crypto on Trust Wallet is relatively easy, all you have to do is:

1. Open you Trust Wallet app on your mobile phone. If you don’t have Trust Wallet, download it from your iTunes or Android App Store.
2. Head to the Wallet tab, then click on the Buy button.
3. From the list of tokens, select Smart Chain (BNB).
4. Enter the amount you want to purchase and click next. You then will be taken to a 3rd party website to complete your transaction.
5. After the transaction is complete and your purchase is confirmed on the blockchain, your funds will reach your Trust Wallet.

Alternatively, if you have BNB (BSC) located on another wallet, you can simply transfer those funds into your Trust Wallet.

 

Accessing PancakeSwap on Trust Wallet.

1. Open you Trust Wallet app on your mobile phone. If you don’t have Trust Wallet, download it from your iTunes or Android App Store.
2. Click on the DApps tab and scroll down on the page. Look for either the DeFi or Popular section, then click on PancakeSwap. Alternatively, you can type in PancakeSwap.finance in the URL search bar.
3. At the top right of your screen, click on the icon located right next to the website address. Make sure that Smart Chain is selected as your network.
4. On PancakeSwap’s home screen, click on the Connect Wallet button, then select Trust Wallet.
5. Now you are ready to swap BNB for Cake or any other token on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) network.

 

Trading BNB for another token on PancakeSwap

1. With your Trust Wallet funded with BNB and connected to PancakeSwap, you can now proceed with acquiring new tokens.
2. Make sure the 1st row says BNB and the 2nd row is the token you want to convert to.
3. Enter the amount of BNB you want to exchange.
4. Click on the Cog Gear Setting Icon and increase the slippage tolerance between 2% and 12%.
5. Make sure you have sufficient funds to proceed with the transaction. Some tokens require you to approve the transaction 1st before the exchange.
6. Once your exchange is approved on the blockchain, your funds will automatically reach your wallet.
